More Scooting

I finally found a bonafide scooter dealer in Jackson. It's a motorcycle/scooter place on the west side of I-55, just south of the Olive Garden.

They handle Genuine Scooters. An American brand made in Taiwan. They have a good reputation in the scooter market. I got real interested in the "Buddy" model which has a 125 cc, 4 stroke engine. It's capable of speeds up to 60-65 mph and gets 80-90 miles per gallon.

Then I went on a website to figure out how long it would take for the scooter to pay for inself in gas savings. The answer: Just over 39 years.

Oh well, maybe one day I'll get one just for fun.
