I had a pleasant surprise when checking my email following Christmas.
I ordered my wife a Timex watch from Timex and paid $10 for overnight shipping. The watch arrived as promised and she was quite happy with it.
Right after Christmas, Timex emailed me with an apology. I ordered overnight shipping and they said they messed up and sent the watch by regular shipping. They apologized for any inconvenience it may have caused. In addition, they are refunding my $10 shipping fee and, as an added token, refunding me 15% of the cost of the watch. It will all be posted to my credit card.
That's what I call service. Thanks Timex!
